The Backyard Problem

Tired of BBQs That Rust, Smoke, or Take Forever to Heat?

You bought the cheap one. Two summers later the lid is rusted through, the burners light on the third try, and half the family eats cold sausages because it never got past lukewarm. Meanwhile the good ones cost more than a weekend away.

Retail wants $489 or more for a 6-burner with a rotisserie — and then charges you $50–$150 to get it to your door. We cut the retail markup, not the steel.

The Build

Built to Impress. Designed to Last.

Every part of this BBQ was specced for Australian conditions — salt air, 40-degree afternoons, and a family that expects to eat on time.

Full view of the Embra 6-burner stainless steel BBQ with the hood open, showing all six burners and cast iron grates

The Full Rig

Six burners, a built-in rotisserie, a 12,000 BTU side burner and a double-door cabinet — all in 304 marine-grade stainless steel. One unit that replaces the BBQ, the spit and the outdoor cooktop.

All six burners of the Embra Grill lit, showing blue flame across the full width of the cast iron grate

6 High-Output Burners

Independently controlled stainless burners hit 250°C in five minutes. Run two on high for searing, four on low to hold — no more cold sausages at the end of the line.

Whole chicken turning on the Embra Grill's built-in rotisserie spit above lit burners

Built-In Rotisserie

Motor, spit and forks included as standard — not a $80 add-on. Sunday roast chicken, lamb, pork belly, done outside without heating the house.

Thick steak with deep charred grill marks searing on the Embra Grill's cast iron grates

Cast Iron Grates

Heavy enamelled cast iron holds heat where thin steel rods drop it. That's what puts real steakhouse bars on a steak instead of grey lines.

Copper saucepan simmering on the Embra Grill's stainless steel side burner

12,000 BTU Side Burner

Gravy, onions, garlic prawns or a pot of water — cooked outside, next to the grill, while the main deck stays free for the meat.

Effortless Cleaning

Removable grease tray, slide-out drip pan and flat stainless surfaces. Burn off, wipe down, close the lid — five minutes, not a Sunday afternoon.

Open double-door cabinet under the Embra Grill holding a 9kg LPG gas bottle and tools

Double-Door Cabinet

Fits a standard 9kg LPG bottle out of sight, plus room for tools, plates and a spare bottle. Everything lives with the BBQ instead of the garage.

Coastal-Ready 304

304 marine-grade stainless resists the salt air that eats 430-grade units alive. Built for decks from Bondi to Busselton.

Locking Caster Wheels

Four heavy-duty casters, two with locks. Roll it out for a party, roll it back under the eaves before the storm hits.

Straight Talk

Who This Is Not For

We'd rather lose the sale than have it turn up wrong. If any of these are you, don't buy it.

Commercial restaurant use

This is a domestic BBQ. It isn't built or rated for a commercial kitchen or a food truck running service every day.

Natural gas homes

LPG bottle only. It ships configured for a standard 9 kg LPG bottle and is not supplied for natural gas connection.

Buying a logo to show off

There's no famous badge on the hood. You're paying for 304 stainless and cast iron, not for the name on the lid.

It's built for Aussie families hosting 4–12 people every week

Weeknight sausages, Saturday steaks, Sunday roast on the spit — that's exactly the job this thing was specced for.

Questions

Everything People Ask Before Ordering

What gas bottle does it use?

A standard 9 kg LPG bottle — the same swap-and-go bottle sold at servos and hardware stores across Australia. The regulator and hose are included and the bottle sits inside the double-door cabinet, out of sight. This BBQ is supplied for LPG only and is not configured for natural gas. The bottle itself is not included — Australian freight rules prevent us shipping cylinders — but the regulator and hose to connect it are.

Is the rotisserie really included, or is it an add-on?

Included. The motor, spit rod and forks come with the BBQ as standard at $199 — there is no tier to upgrade to and no rotisserie upsell at checkout. Most retailers charge $80 or more for the same kit.

How long does delivery take?

Free Australia-wide. Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of payment clearing and delivered in 7 to 10 business days. You get SMS tracking from the moment it leaves our warehouse.

How hard is assembly?

Around 30–45 minutes for two people, or an hour on your own. The cabinet and frame arrive part-assembled; you attach the legs, casters, side burner, shelves and hood. An illustrated guide and the required tool are in the box — you'll want a Phillips screwdriver as well.

What if it arrives damaged?

Take photos of the damage and the packaging and email them to support@embragrill.com within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a free replacement of the damaged part or the whole unit — no return freight cost to you.

Do you provide gas compliance documentation?

Gas compliance documentation available upon request. Email support@embragrill.com and we'll send the documentation we hold for this model.

How do returns work?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number. We'll send return instructions and an address. The BBQ needs to be in resellable condition — cleaned, complete, and repacked in its original carton where possible. Once it arrives back with us your refund is processed within 5 business days to the original payment method. Return freight for a change of mind is at your cost; if the item is faulty, we cover it.

How heavy is it?

Roughly 65 kg assembled, and the shipping carton is heavier again. It arrives kerbside on a pallet, so have a second person on hand for delivery day. Once it's built, the four casters mean one person can move it around the deck easily.
